Responsibilities: Use hand and power tools to cut, bend, shape, and weld metal pieces according to blueprints or instructions Operate machinery such as saws, drills, grinders, and presses to shape metal parts Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy Repair damaged or worn metal parts using welding or soldering techniques Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear at all times Maintain a clean and organized work area
