Requirements: We Are Synopsys is the leader in engineering solutions from silicon to systems, enabling customers to rapidly innovate AI-powered products. We deliver industry-leading silicon design, IP, simulation and analysis solutions, and design services. We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow. You Are You have spent a decade or more in the semiconductor world, close enough to analog and digital design that you can read a block diagram, spot a risk in a timing closure plan, and ask the question that makes an engineer pause and reconsider. You know that the hardest part of delivering IP is not the RTL or the characterization, it is aligning three time zones, two customer stakeholders who want different things, and a release schedule that was aggressive before someone added another tape out dependency. You have been the person customers call when something is off track. Not because you have all the answers, but because you ask the right questions, escalate what matters, and keep your team focused on what will actually move the needle. At Synopsys, you will work with some of the most complex IP in the industry, and the programs you run will directly enable customer tape outs that matter.
What You'll Be Doing: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout IP program delivery, from kickoff through post-silicon support Own statement of work (SOW), program schedules, milestones, and deliverables across analog IP, digital IP, and SoC integration efforts Coordinate cross-functional global teams including design, verification, applications, and sales Identify technical, resource, and schedule risks early and drive mitigation plans Report program health and blockers to internal leadership and customers in a way that drives action The Impact You Will Have Accelerate customer product launches by keeping IP delivery on schedule and reducing integration friction Reduce delivery risk across high-stakes programs where timing, quality, and customer trust are non-negotiable Strengthen Synopsys' reputation as a reliable IP partner by consistently delivering what was promised Drive broader adoption of Synopsys IP by ensuring customers have a smooth experience Shape program management standards across the IP organization
What You'll Need: BSEE or equivalent, with 8+ years of semiconductor industry experience. (we are growing this team with multiple levels available) Proven technical program management experience in SoC design, analog IP, or digital IP development Direct experience managing customer-facing programs where you owned schedules, deliverables, and stakeholder communication Strong understanding of semiconductor design flows, IP integration challenges, and what it takes to get a chip to tape out Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority, across geographies and disciplines
Who You Are: You can look at a program plan and spot the dependency that will become a problem in six weeks, not after it is already late When a customer escalates an issue, you listen, clarify, own the follow-through, and close the loop You stay organized across multiple simultaneous programs without losing track of what matters most You push back when a commitment does not make sense, and you do it in a way that builds trust rather than friction The Team You'll Be Part OfWork with the Silicon IP Program Management Office, collaborating globally with engineering, sales, and support teams to deliver innovative solutions.#LI-SW1 At Synopsys, we want talented people of every background to feel valued and supported to do their best work. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
