About the role
Job DescriptionSHIFT: MONDAY - FRIDAY 9:00am 5:30pm - Overtime if needed First point of contact for selection and shipping transfer/wholesale orders. Coordinate and oversee daily order selecting, verification, consolidation and shipping activities for our Wholesale customers. Assist in selection and loading as needed Communicate with wholesale/warehouse managers, selectors, and transportation to balance schedule and resolve issues Responsible for managing dock space for staging and shipping loads. Responsible for loading and verification of credentials with carriers Communicate selection and shipment issues or delays to management in a timely manner. Verify all documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips. Responsible for maintaining required logs. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes as needed to meet business needs. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, including proper handling and storage of goods Send End of Shift recap. Communicate with Supervisor to manage labor. Ability to work with various departments to resolve issues and ensure smooth daily operations Accept and provide constructive coaching and feedback Must be able to perform basic arithmetic to include adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Perform (each essential duty satisfactorily) and manage other duties and tasks as needed upon request by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)3 - 5 years Warehouse or Lead experience in a Distribution Warehouse is required.
- Forklift and Pallet Jack certified and experienced is requiredRF Scanner experience preferred
- Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus.
