Manufacturing Manager
Location:
Raleigh, NCOverviewOur client, a manufacturer of custom industrial machinery and automation equipment, is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead production operations, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and oversee safety, quality, delivery, and productivity across the facility.
Responsibilities:
Lead daily manufacturing operations, scheduling, and capacity planning.
Manage machining, fabrication, assembly, testing, and production activities.
Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and track KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Partner with Engineering to support design-to-build execution.
Lead quality, root-cause analysis, and corrective action efforts.
Manage, coach, and develop production teams.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
Improve operational efficiency, throughput, and on-time delivery.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
- Experience managing teams of 30+ employees.
- Strong knowledge of machining, fabrication, welding, and assembly processes.
- Experience in custom machinery, automation, capital equipment, or industrial manufacturing.
- Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- ERP/MRP system experience preferred.
