Law firm based in Morris County, NJ seeks an Operations Manager to join their firm. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on operations and office administration experience within a law firm, including management experience. Fully onsite Monday - Friday
Salary range: 110-130K base
Hours: 8:30-5
Responsibilities: The Office Administrator oversees daily operations and personnel management for the client’s offices, ensuring seamless functionality and adherence to organizational standards. This role involves managing non-attorney staff, coordinating office activities, and supporting the client’s leadership team in operational excellence. Responsible for maintaining office facilities, technology coordination, and ensuring efficient workflows across multiple locations. Collaborates closely with managing partners to uphold service quality and operational standards. Leads recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives for non-attorney roles, fostering team growth and productivity. Monitors and analyzes office performance metrics, providing actionable insights to leadership. Ensures compliance with organizational policies, confidentiality standards, and legal regulations. Promotes a positive office culture, emphasizing collaboration, transparency, and professional growth. Supervise non-attorney staff, conducting regular performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback. Coordinate office operations, ensuring efficient workflows and resource allocation across multiple locations. Oversee facilities management, including maintenance, security, and vendor coordination. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, confidentiality standards, and legal regulations. Implement technology solutions to improve operational efficiency and data security. Promote a positive and collaborative office culture, fostering team engagement and morale.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field; Certified Legal Manager (CLM) preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in office administration or operations management, including team leadership. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with Salesforce CRM.Experience with AI tools for operational efficiency and data analysis is highly desirable. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational excellence. Ability to manage multi-site operations and adapt to dynamic business needs. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on team collaboration. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
