Assembler Position Our customer in Rock Falls, Illinois is looking for dependable and detail-oriented individuals to join their manufacturing team as assemblers. This is a full-time 1st shift opportunity working a four-day workweek with the potential for overtime on Fridays. In this role, you will assemble fabricated metal components, inspect finished products, and help ensure quality standards are met while maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities of the assembler: Assemble metal tank components using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions to complete assemblies proper fit, alignment, and placement of parts and hardware. Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process and prior to shipment. Identify product defects, missing components, or assembly issues and make corrections when needed. Maintain accurate production and job move materials and finished products using pallet jacks and other approved equipment. Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized. Communicate production concerns or quality issues to supervisors promptly. Assist with other production and finishing duties as needed. Support continuous improvement and workplace safety requirements and qualifications: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred. At least one year of manufacturing, assembly, or related production experience. Experience using hand tools and power tools in an industrial setting. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or assembly instructions. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic math attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.pay for assembler: starting at $20/hour. assembler benefits: Health insurance.
