About the role
Audit Manager / Senior Audit Manager Greater Cleveland, Ohio (Hybrid)LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Audit Manager / Senior Audit Manager for a well-established public accounting firm in Greater Cleveland, Ohio. This role will lead audit and assurance engagements, manage client relationships, mentor staff, and deliver exceptional service to a diverse client base across industries including manufacturing, real estate, nonprofit, and professional services.
Responsibilities:
- • Manage and review audits, reviews, and compilations for a variety of clients
- Lead engagement teams and oversee audit planning, execution, and delivery
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service
- Mentor, train, and develop staff accountants and senior associates
- Coordinate engagement scheduling and resource allocation
- Participate in Employee Benefit Plan audits and other specialized engagements
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen client outcomes
Qualifications:
- • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
- Active CPA license required 5+ years of public accounting audit experience
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Employee Benefit Plan audit experience preferred
- Strong technical accounting and auditing knowledge
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client service skills
- Recent public accounting experience required
