About the role
Criminal Justice Information Consultant I assists with administration and resolution of operational and management problems for the Applicant Services Unit at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. The position provides recommendations based on systems analysis, monitors databases for operational status, conducts research on criminal justice laws and regulations, and maintains the security and integrity of departmental data.
Key qualifications:
Knowledge of office procedures and law enforcement data systems
Ability to record, collect, evaluate, and analyze data
Ability to read and interpret state statutes and federal laws
Ability to operate personal computers and office equipment
NCIC/FCIC certification required and must be maintained
