About the role
- Perform oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and other basic maintenance services
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide excellent customer hospitality throughout every visit
- Treat every customer and vehicle with care and respect
- Complete thorough vehicle inspections and accurately document findings
- Check and top off fluids
- Inspect belts, hoses, tires, brakes, and other safety-related components
- Clearly communicate vehicle concerns to the service advisor
- Assist technicians and service advisors as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Properly handle tools, equipment, and customer vehicles
- Follow all company procedures and safety standards
- Help keep vehicles moving through the shop efficiently
- Previous automotive or lube technician experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the workday
- Must take pride in providing quality work and a positive customer experience
- Competitive pay of $15–$18 per hour, based on experience
