Responsibilities: The Senior Director, Business Development will be responsible for managing strategic clientrelationships and driving business growth across the North America (USA) region. Manage client relationships, build and grow a sales portfolio, and own the complete opportunity management cycle: Prospect → Evaluate → Propose → Close. Drive new logo acquisition and expand business within existing banking and financial services accounts. Lead sales of Finacle Core Banking, Digital Banking, Payments, Lending, and Banking Transformation solutions. Develop and execute account growth strategies, including pipeline development, stakeholder mapping, pricing strategy, and pursuit planning. Build and maintain executive relationships with CXOs, business leaders, and transformation stakeholders. Collaborate with product, consulting, pre-sales, and delivery teams to ensure successful client outcomes. Lead client presentations, proposal development, commercial negotiations, and contract closures. Drive revenue growth and market penetration across banks, credit unions, and financial institutions in North America.
Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.12-15 years of experience in Core Banking Solution Sales, Digital Banking Solution Sales, Banking Technology Sales, or Fintech Product Sales. Proven track record of selling Core Banking Solutions and Banking Platforms to financial institutions. Strong experience in business development, relationship management, and strategic account management. Experience selling into Tier-1 and Tier-2 banks and financial institutions across North America. Strong understanding of:o Retail Bankingo Commercial Bankingo Corporate Bankingo Digital Banking Transformationo Payments and Transaction Bankingo Lending Platforms Demonstrated success in managing complex sales cycles and closing large transformational deals. Proven hunter mentality with a strong track record of new logo acquisition and revenue growth. Understanding of enterprise-grade product deployment and implementation lifecycles. Track record of engaging and influencing C-level executives and senior business stakeholders. Hands-on experience developing proposals, responding to RFPs/RFIs, and delivering executive presentations. Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Experience working in a product company and collaborating with large services organizations and channel partners within Banking and Financial Services.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience selling Finacle or other leading Core Banking platforms. Deep understanding of the North American banking and financial services landscape. Knowledge of banking modernization, cloud transformation, AI, automation, and digital banking initiatives. Knowledge of industry-specific go-to-market strategies and banking business drivers. Experience working within a Global Delivery Model. Experience managing large, multi-state or multi-location sales engagements. Experience collaborating within a matrix organization. Existing relationships with banking executives and decision-makers across North America.
