Our array of clients ranges from a wide variety of fields from technical to marketing. STAR7 Group is recruiting Simultaneous Interpreters from French into Flemish to be part of our growing Teams. The linguist will provide simultaneous and/or consecutive translation, ensuring that:target text correctly reflects the meaning of the sourcehigh-grammatical accuracy while maintaining key terminology, spotting inconsistencies and incorrect cultural referencesa good quality audio (in case of RSI)
Requirements:
Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics, Interpreting, or equivalent experienceNative speaker in one of the languages involvedExcellent command of the French language in both comprehension and writingLinguistic and cultural competences of both source and target languageAdaptive to fast-paced work environment with multiple changes of project prioritiesAbility to maintain professionalism under pressure and meet tight deadlinesProblem solving and decision-making skillsExperience with simultaneous & consecutive interpreting serviceExperience with Interpretation systems (bidule) Experience in translating technical courses would be a plus
