About the role
- Translate customer, market, and business insights into recommendations for marketing tactics and communications.
- Support development and execution of defined marketing initiatives or tactics for HCP and/or patient audiences.
- Work with agency partners to support project timelines, deliverables, feedback, and execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Medical, Regulatory, Legal, and other partners to understand the review and approval process for biopharmaceutical marketing materials.
- Analyze available information and project results to identify learnings and opportunities to strengthen future marketing efforts.
- Prepare and deliver a final presentation summarizing project work, recommendations, business impact, and key learnings.
- Education/Experience Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an MBA program or comparable graduate business program, with at least one semester to complete prior to graduation.
- Prior coursework or experience in marketing, brand strategy, healthcare, life sciences, consumer insights, or related areas is preferred.
- Additional Skills/Experience:

- Strong interest in biopharmaceutical marketing, rare disease, customer insights, and brand strategy.
- Strong strategic thinking, communication, presentation, project management, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; experience developing executive-ready presentations is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with agency and cross-functional partners and incorporate feedback in a regulated environment.
- All positions have an essential job function to be able to perform face to face work with colleagues and/or onsite in San Diego. No role is expected to be 100% remote.
- Target Base Pay Range:$43 - 60 per hour*This information is current as of the date of this posting and may be modified in the future. Actual pay offered to a candidate will depend on a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, education, skills, and location.
