Company Overview:
A fast-growing multinational supply chain automation company. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales executive with a background in parcel sorting, unit sorting, material handling or intralogistics automation.
Position Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business, managing key customer relationships and delivering commercially compelling solutions that address complex operational requirements. Developing strategic partnerships and relationships with new and existing clients. Identifying and capturing new customer growth opportunities. Leveraging the right technology from the company's product / solution portfolio to drive business expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a sales strategy across the assigned territory. Identify, qualify and progress new business opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise customers, integrators and strategic partners. Manage the complete sales cycle, from initial engagement through to contract award. Understand customer operational requirements and coordinate the development of appropriate technical solutions. Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular forecasts and activity reports. Achieve agreed revenue, margin and business development objectives. Monitor market conditions, customer requirements and competitor activity. Ensure an effective handover to the relevant implementation and delivery teams.
Key Requirements:
6+ years experience in the warehouse automation / material handling industry. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business. Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time, primarily US based. Knowledge and experience of parcel sorting, unit sorting, warehouse automation or material handling systems. A successful record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong commercial, negotiation and presentation skills. Experience managing long and complex sales cycles. Strong organizational skills and effective CRM and pipeline management. Willingness to travel regularly across the United States.
