Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate independent work requiring judgment, initiative, and experience in the application and adaptation of architectural techniques.
Coordinate technical issues with other disciplines or customer organizations, or projects.
Provide expertise and guidance in architectural design, and resolve architectural technical, code, regulatory, and safety issues.
Manage special tasks and provide leadership, training, and consultation to co‑workers.
Conduct construction document reviews as required.
Assist in the preparation of task estimates; perform studies and prepare analysis as required.
Interface with other design/construction disciplines, management, and customers, as necessary.
Qualifications & Education:
- Bachelor of Architecture with a minimum of 12 years of professional architectural experience in relevant design/field experience.
- Registered Architect with current state registration. National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) preference.
- Preferred familiarity with Micro
- Station computer-aided drafting applications.
- Preferred working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to architectural design.
