Job Description:
We are looking for adetail-oriented and organized Inventory & Purchasing Coordinatorto join our trucking company. The ideal candidate will have experience withtrucks, truck parts, inventory, purchasing, and computer-based software.
Responsibilities:
Enter and maintain truck and truck-part inventory in company software
Process and organize incoming vehicle titles for purchased trucks
Review and process invoices and purchase orders
Verify information for accuracy and completeness
Maintain organized records and documentation
Communicate with internal team members regarding purchases and paperwork
Assist with inventory tracking and general administrative duties
Ensure all paperwork is properly entered, filed, and up to date
Qualifications:
Previous experience in thetrucking, transportation, heavy-duty truck, or truck-parts industry
Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software
Experience with inventory, invoices, purchase orders, vehicle titles is preferred
Excellent attention to detail
Highly organized with strong follow-through
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The ideal candidate is someone who knows trucks and truck parts, is comfortable working on a computer, and takes pride in keeping inventory and paperwork accurate and organized.
