An opportunity is available for a Hematopathologist at a community hospital-based pathology practice in East Texas. They are looking for a Board-Certified professional to join their collegial group, serving a large regional healthcare system. This position involves handling a mix of hematopathology and solid tumor cases, working closely with specialists in oncology. Individuals with varying levels of experience, including fellows, are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret diagnostic results in hematopathology and related specialties
- Collaborate with oncologists, clinicians, and pathology peers
- Engage in multidisciplinary case reviews when necessary
- Contribute to quality assurance efforts and ongoing improvement initiatives
- Support a patient-centered, team-based approach in pathology services
Qualifications:
- MD or DO required
- Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology or AP/CPFellowship training or a focus on Hematopathology
- Must be eligible for medical licensure in Texas
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
