Job Description Job Description Mobile ADAS Calibration & Diagnostic Technician ClearPath Tampa Bay, FLFull-Time Monday-Friday $22-$27/hour + Performance Bonuses ClearPath is an independent mobile automotive diagnostic and ADAS calibration service supporting collision shops and fleet accounts throughout Tampa Bay. We're hiring our first Mobile ADAS Calibration & Diagnostic Technician to help us grow. This is an opportunity to get in early, work directly with the owner, and eventually take ownership of your own mobile route. You'll receive hands-on training on our processes before taking over a company-provided van equipped with the tools and technology needed to perform OEM-level ADAS calibrations, module programming, and electrical diagnostics in the field. Most days will be spent performing calibrations and diagnostics at customer locations. When the schedule is lighter, you'll also maintain relationships with existing fleet and collision partners and introduce ClearPath's services to potential new accounts.
What You'll Do:
  • Perform static and dynamic ADAS calibrations according to OEM procedures across multiple vehicle makes
  • Complete pre-scans, post-scans, DTC diagnostics, module programming, and coding
  • Use OEM or equivalent diagnostic software and scan tools
  • Complete calibration reports, photos, documentation, and required paperwork before leaving each site
  • Drive a company-provided van to collision shops, fleet yards, and other customer locations throughout Tampa BayCommunicate professionally with shop managers, fleet managers, and other customer contacts
  • Set up, break down, organize, and maintain ADAS targets, scan tools, and other equipment
  • Identify required parts, additional repairs, and follow-up work and communicate those needs promptly
  • Follow up with existing fleet and collision partners when the schedule allows to identify upcoming calibration needs
  • Introduce ClearPath's mobile calibration and programming services to prospective local shops and fleets
  • Document customer conversations and follow-up opportunities
  • Assist with key and fob programming as that service continues to grow
What We're Looking For:
  • 2+ years of experience in automotive diagnostics, ADAS calibration, or collision electrical work
  • Strong automotive mechanical experience combined with significant scan-tool experience may also be considered
  • Hands-on experience using automotive scan tools and ADAS target setupsOEM diagnostic software experience is preferred but not required
  • Valid Florida driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Must meet company vehicle insurance requirements
  • Ability to independently manage a mobile workday after training
  • Ability to safely set up and move calibration equipment weighing approximately 50 pounds
  • Comfortable communicating directly with collision shops and fleet customers
  • Comfortable using a tablet, email, and completing short written reports
  • High school diploma or equivalentASE or I-CAR certifications are preferred
  • ScheduleFull-Time, Monday-Friday
Occasional early starts or later finishes may be required to accommodate same-day fleet service calls. Compensation$22-$27 per hour, based on experience Overtime after 40 hours$15 bonus for each completed static or dynamic calibration after training, provided documentation is complete and the work passes review$100 bonus when a new shop or fleet account you introduce sends its first paid job Hourly compensation remains the same during slower periods Written performance review after the initial 90-day period with an opportunity for a pay increase based on performance
