Brilliant is seeking an accomplished Finance & Accounting professional interested in bringing their industry experience, relationships, and network into a Business Development role. This opportunity is ideal for someone who has built a strong career within Finance & Accounting, understands the challenges businesses face when building their teams, and genuinely enjoys connecting with people. We are looking for someone who can leverage their professional experience and network to develop relationships with Finance & Accounting leaders, identify opportunities, and introduce Brilliant’s staffing and consulting solutions. You do not need to come from staffing or traditional sales. We are looking for someone who knows the Finance & Accounting space, is comfortable networking and building relationships, and is excited about turning those relationships into business opportunities. What will you do? Build and develop relationships with CFOs, Controllers, CAOs, VPs of Finance, and other Finance & Accounting leaders. Leverage your existing professional network while continuously developing new relationships in the market. Represent Brilliant through networking, industry events, professional organizations, referrals, and one-on-one relationship building. Meet with prospective and existing clients to understand their businesses, teams, hiring challenges, and talent needs. Identify new business opportunities and introduce Brilliant’s contract, consulting, and direct-hire staffing solutions. Partner closely with Brilliant’s recruiting teams to connect clients with highly qualified Finance & Accounting professionals. Develop and maintain a target list of organizations and contacts through consistent outreach, meetings, calls, email, referrals, and networking. Stay current on Finance & Accounting hiring trends, compensation, labor market conditions, and talent availability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to clients. Manage relationships throughout the business development lifecycle, including proposals, pricing, contracts, placements, and ongoing account management. Document business development and client activity within our ATS and CRM systems. What will you bring? A strong professional background in Finance & Accounting and the credibility to engage with senior-level leaders in the profession. An established professional network and an interest in continuing to grow it. A natural ability to build relationships, connect people, and create opportunities. Strong business acumen and an understanding of the challenges Finance & Accounting teams face. An entrepreneurial mindset with the drive and persistence to develop new business. Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through. Prior business development, client-facing, consulting, staffing, or professional services experience is a plus, but staffing experience is not required. How are we different?
