About the role

Job Description: Myrick Recruiting, LLC has partnered with a leading industrial contractor on a Regional Sales Manager opportunity covering the NY market.
The Opportunity: This is a true hunter-and-farmer sales role focused on winning new regional business while growing existing customer relationships. The Regional Sales Manager will own the territory, build revenue, expand market share, and directly impact the region’s annual sales performance. The ideal candidate will enjoy both the hunt for new business and the long-term work of developing valuable customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities: Develop new business through direct prospecting and relationships with operators, general contractors, engineering firms, and OEM/OEM dealers. Grow and expand existing regional accounts, including underpenetrated relationships. Identify opportunities to cross-sell construction, service, and compliance-testing solutions. Turn recurring compliance and testing requirements into ongoing service agreements. Use existing customer relationships and references to open doors with similar or neighboring accounts. Build and maintain strong local channel relationships throughout the territory. Own the regional sales budget, forecast accurately, and maintain a disciplined CRM. Partner with Branch Managers to ensure customer growth aligns with delivery and capacity.
What We’re Looking For: 5+ years of B2B sales or account management experience, ideally in construction, industrial services, facilities, or infrastructure services. A proven track record of both winning new business and growing existing accounts. Strong prospecting, networking, and relationship-building skills with the ability to manage a multi-stakeholder sales process. Experience managing a geographically defined territory with a mix of new business and established accounts. Experience with public-sector, municipal, multi-site retail fueling, or fuel-distribution customers is a plus. Experience working through general contractors, engineering firms, OEMs, or OEM dealers is a plus. Strong CRM, forecasting, and sales-budget discipline. Willingness to travel throughout the territory; overnight travel may be up to 40%.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
