About the role
Production Operator The role of Cold Finish Production Operator is to learn and safely operate every area of the Cold Finish Operation including Receiving, Draw Line, Operations, Coil Line Operations, TGP Production, and Shipping/Offline functions with a team first attitude. This position requires the qualified candidate to function effectively as well as contribute in a fast-paced, team environment. The qualified candidate must be willing to work rotating shifts and weekends as required. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Requirements:
Authorized to work in the United States. Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Background Check. Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening. Preferences: Experience in production environment.
