Description: Atlas Disposal, a leader in sustainable waste management solutions, is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Sales Manager to oversee and develop its Arizona sales team. This full-time, exempt position is based in Laveen, AZ, and reports directly to the President & CEO while working closely with General Managers. The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, selling, coaching and mentoring sales representatives, and ensuring the consistent execution of sales strategies. Responsibilities: Sell, Lead, manage, and develop a team of sales representatives across Arizona, providing day-to-day leadership and support Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor new sales team members to ensure high performance and retention Conduct regular ride-alongs, coaching sessions, and weekly one-on-one meetings to foster team growth and accountability Set clear sales expectations and activity standards for direct reports, holding team members accountable for pipeline development and quota attainment Own regional revenue targets and monitor sales activity, pipeline health, and close rates Ensure accurate CRM usage, forecasting, and reporting to support business objectives Support key customer opportunities and participate in contract negotiations as needed Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company growth goals Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Customer Experience teams to support pricing, retention, and service delivery Provide leadership with regular updates on market performance and sales opportunities Lead Arizona sales operations and support alignment with teams in Northern California and Utah, including periodic travel between markets
Qualifications: 5-10+ years of sales leadership experience with direct reports Proven ability to sell, manage, coach, and develop sales teams Demonstrated experience driving team accountability and performance management Strong skills in CRM, pipeline management, and forecasting Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities Willingness to travel throughout regional markets as needed
