Role Description:
The Head of Sponsorship is a full-time, remote based, responsible for leading all sponsorship strategy, sales, and relationship management activities. This role oversees the development of sponsorship packages, identifies and qualifies prospects, and drives revenue through securing new sponsors and renewing existing partnerships. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the sponsorship sales pipeline, preparing and delivering persuasive presentations, negotiating agreements, and ensuring sponsor activations are executed according to commitments. The Head of Sponsorship collaborates closely with marketing, events, and operations teams to align sponsor objectives with RAD’s offerings and to create integrated, high-value sponsorship opportunities. This position also involves tracking performance metrics, reporting results to leadership, and continuously refining sponsorship strategies to meet business goals.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated expertise in Sponsorship Sales and Sponsorship strategy, including building and closing sponsorship deals.
Strong Communication and Presentations skills, with the ability to convey value propositions clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Proven Sales abilities, including pipeline management, prospecting, negotiation, and account growth.
Experience developing sponsorship packages, pricing models, and partnership proposals that align with business objectives.
Ability to lead and mentor team members, collaborate cross-functionally, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Comfort working in an on-site, fast-paced environment with a focus on measurable outcomes and client satisfaction.
Familiarity with event, media, or sports/entertainment sponsorships is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
