About the role

Hyperion Solutions is currently seeking experienced Inside Sales Administrator to join our Application Sales team. The Application Sales team provides technical and engineering support for our customers via phone and written communications as well as facilitating orders.
Primary Responsibilities: Customer Service & Relationship Management
Develop and optimize customer relationships through regular sales communications. Communicate with customers regarding order status and ensure customer satisfaction. Assist with the resolution of customer issues, concerns, and complaints. Perform outbound emails and calls, as well as inbound lead follow-up activities. Maintain, build, and expand the company customer database using CRM tools. Sales Support & Order Management Update notes and activities within the sales quote pipeline as directed by the sales team. Create and process proposals and sales orders in accordance with company policies. Participate in product and service promotions from both internal and external sources. Support the Sales and Application Engineering teams. Administrative & Documentation Management Organize technical documents for proposals and projects. Organize and categorize shared email inboxes. Produce periodic reports, summaries, and other information as requested by management. Maintain accurate customer and sales records. Operational Coordination Coordinate with Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure on-time delivery of products and services. Collaborate across departments to support customer and business objectives. Continuous Improvement & Professional Development Pursue ongoing knowledge of industry trends, markets, competitors, and products. Attend and actively participate in company meetings. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred. Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in administrative support, customer service, inside sales, or a related role. Must be mechanically inclined, analytical, creative, and be able to work in a team environment Must possess superior skills in organization, communication, problem solving, understanding customers’ decision‑making process, verbal and written communication and multitasking Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows OS including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, popular web browsers and search engines, and Windows Explorer SAP experience is a plus Must have prompt and regular attendance, a sense of urgency, self‑motivation, and discipline
