ABOUT THE JOB: The Press Operator operates Form department presses and equipment in a productive manner to produce precision parts. Understand dimensions and tolerances. Perform interval quality checks on parts produced and document on appropriate paperwork.

Essential Functions: Able to follow verbal and written instructions from Lead, Set-up personnel, traveler, or other company documentation. Operate various manual, pneumatic, electric and hydraulic presses to cut, shape, and form metal, plastic, or other materials used in manufacturing operations. Perform forming, cutting, drilling, bending, and punching operations to blueprint specifications. Use various measuring equipment such as height gauges, calipers, and micrometers to verify part dimensions. Document measurements, counts, etc. on company paperwork/graphs. Able to handle delicate parts and using tweezers. Identify imperfections and out of spec conditions based on documented acceptance criteria.

This is a full-time position. First shift days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm and Second shift days and hours are Monday through Friday, 3:30pm to 12:00am. Occasional overtime as deemed by management and production needs. Regular attendance is an essential function of the job. Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED. Salary Range: $17.50-$25.00/hour This is the full salary range for the position. Most new hires can expect to start around $17.50/hour. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
