About the role

Be a Difference-Maker from Day OneAt the YMCA, we believe every child deserves a strong start and a safe space to learn, grow, and thrive. We're looking ahead and building our dream team of educators and we want you to be a part of it! The mission of the Brotherton CDC is to provide supportive, nurturing care in a Christ-centered environment that enriches the development of the whole child, in spirit, mind, and body, and helps to provide a foundation for the entire family. If you're a passionate and purpose-driven early childhood professional ready to build brighter futures, this is your chance to join a cause-driven community that invests in you while you invest in the next generation.
What You'll Do: Create a joyful, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment rooted in exploration, inclusion, and care. Build meaningful relationships with families and engage them in their child's developmental journey. Model the YMCA core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. Ensure the physical and emotional safety of every child in your care.
Please note: We are a year-round center, so you must be available to work Monday through Friday. If you have a heart for children and a love of learning apply today.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
