About the role
A leading educational and research institution is seeking an AV Project Manager to support the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple audiovisual and technology-related projects. This role will help drive project organization, communication, budgeting, vendor coordination, and implementation activities across a variety of facilities and classroom technology initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project plans and schedules
- Coordinate AV deployments and implementation activitiesTrack budgets, risks, issues, and project status
- Facilitate communication among project stakeholders
- Manage project documentation and reporting
- Coordinate vendors, contractors, and internal teams
- Support technology and facilities project go-live activitiesTrack project milestones and deliverables through completion
Required Qualifications:
- Experience managing AV, technology, construction, or facilities projects
- Strong project planning and organizational skills
- Experience managing schedules, budgets, and project risks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP CertificationAV integration experience
- Construction project management experience
- Facilities technology deployments
- Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar tools
- Higher education experience
- CompensationContract engagement (~12 months)
Pay rate: $60 per hour
