For 100+ years, we’ve helped keep businesses moving. Our Techs are based out of our Indianapolis IN office and service the Northeast and Northwest area.
Position Overview: We’re seeking a Motive Power Service Technician to join our team. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who enjoys mechanical work, solving problems, and providing excellent service to industrial customers.
Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair motive power battery systems and chargers at customer sites. Conduct diagnostics and performance checks on industrial battery equipment. Perform preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability and safety. Communicate effectively with customers to explain service work and recommend solutions. Maintain accurate service records and follow safety protocols. Travel locally to customer facilities as needed. Why work as a Motive Power Service Technician? Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in installing, servicing, and maintaining similar manufacturing or electrical products Motive Power product experience (batteries, chargers, etc) seen as a huge plus. Mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and customer service skills. Must pass pre-employment drug screening, background check, and DOT medical exam.
