Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Database Manager to lead the administration, performance, security, and reliability of a Microsoft SQL Server environment. This role provides technical leadership to a small database/reporting team while working with IT, security, and business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Microsoft SQL Server administration in production environments.2+ years of technical leadership or supervisory experience. Strong experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, Always On, backup/recovery, SQL Server Agent, and performance tuning. Working knowledge of SSIS and SSRS.Experience with Power Shell automation. Understanding of Windows Server, storage, and virtualization as they relate to database performance. Experience with database security and audited or regulated environments. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and occasional after-hours maintenance.
