IT SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR | QUEENSTOWN, MD$70,000–$85,000 + Excellent Benefits We have been hired by our client, a well-established organization on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, to find an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join their team in Queenstown, MD.This is a great opportunity for someone with strong systems administration experience who enjoys being hands-on, solving problems, working with users, and taking ownership of day-to-day technology needs. You will work closely with the IT Director and outside technology partners while supporting the organization’s infrastructure, applications, security, and ongoing IT initiatives. We are looking for someone with approximately 6+ years of progressive IT experience and a strong background in: • Windows servers and Active Directory • Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange, Intune, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams • Networking, including DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs and Wi-Fi • IT troubleshooting and end-user support • Cybersecurity and system hardening best practices • Business continuity and disaster recovery • PowerShell, Python, Batch or other scripting/automation tools • Working with MSPs and third-party technology vendors • Technical documentation and system configurations An Associate’s degree or higher in a technology-related field is preferred, although equivalent experience will absolutely be considered. Experience within banking or financial services would be a plus, as would experience with APIs, middleware, ODBC, Microsoft Power Automate or Microsoft Copilot. Compensation is $70,000–$85,000, depending on experience.
