Step into a dynamic imaging environment, supporting critical diagnostic services through your expertise in nuclear medicine and PET/CT technology. This contract role offers a chance to work in a fast-paced department renowned for its high patient volume and advanced diagnostic procedures. The assignment spans 12 weeks, with an immediate Tuesday start available. Schedule & Hours: Day shift, Monday through Friday Five 8-hour shifts per week (full-time, 40 hours weekly) No on-call duty or holiday work
Qualifications & Experience: Active CNMT or ARRT(N) certification required Proficiency in PET/CT procedures utilizing a range of protocols, including Skull Base to Midthigh, Whole Body, Limited Infection, PSMA, NET, Cerianna, Brain, Amyvid, Sarcoidosis, and Myocardial Perfusion scans Demonstrated recent PET experience Expertise with IV starts and administration of both IV and oral contrast Skilled with use of MEDRAD FDG Injector and Hot Lab procedures Ability to adapt within a busy department, averaging up to 23 patients per day on a single scanner
Role Responsibilities: Prepare, perform, and process a variety of PET/CT examinations Ensure accurate dose preparation and radiation safety Administer radiopharmaceuticals and contrasts following established protocols Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other technologists to support optimal patient care Maintain detailed documentation and support department workflow efficiency
