About the role
We are seeking a Consulting Full Stack Engineer with deep expertise in .NET, Vue.js, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to lead the modernization and cloud transformation of a critical enterprise application portfolio. The current legacy ASP/.NET application supports 180+ locations and is being expanded to support more than 2,000 additional locations. To meet new scale, performance, security, and operational demands, the platform will be fully re‑architected and rebuilt as a modern, cloud‑native solution. This role is ideal for an engineer experienced in modernizing legacy systems, designing scalable cloud architectures, and delivering high‑availability enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze existing legacy ASP/.NET applications and contribute to modernization and migration strategies.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using C#/.NET Core/.NET 8+.Re‑architect monolithic applications into modern, cloud‑native solutions capable of supporting thousands of facilities and users.
Build RESTful APIs, microservices, and event‑driven integrations.
Develop responsive, modern user interfaces using Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.Design scalable data models and optimize database performance using PostgreSQL.Deploy applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using cloud‑native services and best practices.
Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure automation to improve reliability and deployment efficiency.
Optimize application performance, security, monitoring, and observability for enterprise‑scale workloads.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Technical Leads, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
Participate in code reviews, technical design sessions, troubleshooting, and production support.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in software application development.
- Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET Core, and modernization of .NET Framework applications.
- Experience migrating or modernizing legacy applications into cloud‑native architectures.
- Hands‑on experience developing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Strong front‑end experience with Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.Proficiency with PostgreSQL including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Practical experience with GCP, including:
- Cloud Run, App Engine, GKE, or similar hosting servicesCloud SQL (PostgreSQL)
- Pub/Sub, Dataflow, or related integration servicesCloud Monitoring, Logging, and Operations SuiteIAM, security, and cloud governance best practices
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting healthcare applications or large‑scale facility operations.
Background in application modernization, domain‑driven design, and microservice architecture patterns.
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application delivery.
Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
Familiarity with HL7/FHIR integrations and healthcare interoperability standards.
Experience designing highly available, scalable systems supporting thousands of users and facilities.
