ATS DRIVERSouthwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for the SWIC full-time, grant-funded position of ATS Driver. This is a full-time position funded by external funds and the work schedule may vary to satisfy the operational needs of the program. General transportation of customers including persons with disabilities and elderly riders. This position will provide on-the-job training of ATS Drivers and give evaluation rides to experienced drivers to ensure that proper safety, customer service, regulatory and contractual procedures are being followed. Applicants for, and employees within, this position are subject to the federal drug and alcohol testing requirements as well as criminal background checks and driving record checks.
Qualifications:
Class B CDL with Air Brakes and Passenger Endorsement (required). High school diploma or GED required. Some College preferred. A minimum of seven (7) consecutive years of licensed driving experience required. Must not have any attributable accidents or moving violations within the last 3 years. Ability to meet and maintain the physical, drug and alcohol testing requirements and Motor Vehicle Records checks as required per ATS and SWIC guidelines. Must successfully pass criminal background check prior to hire. Starting pay and hours: $26.64 per hour, 40 hours per week.
