Sr. Coordinator - Quality Assurance Technician We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Sr. Coordinator - Quality Assurance Technician to support the Powder Coat operations at our client's Manhattan facility. This position will be responsible for ensuring that our powder coated products meet or exceed industry standards and customer specifications. This role involves inspecting, testing, and monitoring the quality of materials, components, and final products throughout the powder coat and production process.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished parts to ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and industry precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product dimensions and quality. Document and maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and non-conformance issues. Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns, providing guidance and support to improve processes and product quality. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control procedures. Perform routine calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment. Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conforming products. Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate product production. Conduct final inspections of products before shipping to ensure adherence to quality standards and customer requirements. Report quality issues to management and work to resolve problems in a timely manner.
