About the role

Soo Dance Company and Academy is a Premier Dance Studio that is currently looking for dance teachers for 2025–2026, starting in the summer and continuing through the spring. We have two locations: Danville and San Ramon. We are a well-established and professional dance studio with a strong track record of success looking for instructors to join our TEAM. This position involves teaching techniques as well as choreographing for Competitions (as a PLUS) and also annual showcases December and May. A thorough knowledge of a wide range of dance styles would be a plus, but it is not required. We only hire career-minded, long-term employees who have a strong work ethic and a desire for professional growth. We value teachers who can teach in a variety of styles and who enjoy working with students of all ages, from tiny tots to our most advanced competitive dancers. Multi-discipline artists are very welcome! Compensation for this position varies based on experience and credentials.
Job Type: Part-time. We offer competitive hourly salary.
Qualifications: All applicants must have at least 3+ years of prior teaching experience. A high school diploma is required; a dance degree is currently being pursued in college. Must be knowledgeable in the proper dance techniques. Must committed to Fall-Summer contracted yearly Must be able to manage a classroom of students ranging in age from 2 to 18 years. Punctuality and communication clearly well-organized and committed
