About the role

Our client is an International Bank based in Midtown Manhattan. They are looking for a Procurement / Sourcing Specialist for 6-12+ month assignment. This role will be on a hybrid basis and all applicants must be vaccinated. The bank seeks a highly motivated, detail-oriented, team player to support the Procurement department:• Hybrid work environment, contract 40 hours per week• Understand and support the Procurement Policy• Guide and support lines of business and service owners to elicit and understand purchase requirements• Develop and execute sourcing plans• Maintain the procurement plan• Negotiate, analyze, and manage contracts throughout the contract lifecycle• Procure goods and services as needed for the organization• Coordinate and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure timely demand management for our constituents• Working Knowledge and understanding of Contract Terms and Conditions.
About You: • 3-5 years demonstrated Procurement/Sourcing experience• Intimate knowledge of the S/P2P process and experience using ERP systems (Workday)• Working knowledge of the RFx process• Proficient with Google Suite (Email, Calendar, Drive, & Sheets)• 4 year degree preferred• Experience in the finance industry
