About the role
- Care Team model of 4 Anesthesiologists and 13 CRNAs rotating between two facilities located 10 minutes apart80/20 practice model consisting primarily of medical direction with opportunities to perform your own cases
- Case mix includes General Surgery, Orthopedics, Spine, Urology, Gastroenterology, and Obstetrics
- No cardiac, neurosurgical, or pediatric cases
- Approximately 6,000 surgical cases annually
- Home beeper call (7:00 PM-7:00 AM) averaging 7 shifts per month
- Additional call and extra shifts available with additional compensation
- Cross-credentialing with HCA Florida Largo Hospital and HCA Florida Northside Hospital
- Regional block proficiency required to support opioid-sparing and ERAS programs
- Qualified Candidates
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Eligible for or currently hold an unrestricted Florida medical license
- Current DEA registration or ability to obtain unrestricted DEA registration
- Regional block proficiency required
- Comfortable supervising CRNAs while also performing your own cases
