About the role
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 year previous experience in a brewery, winery, distillery, manufacturing, or production facility; beverage alcohol, brewing, distilling, food production or similar environment preferred
- Valid driver's license and comfort driving a box truck required
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working with production equipment, tools, hoses, tanks, pumps, and valves
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow SOPs and production guidelines
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and work effectively as part of a team
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production facility preferred
- Familiar with 5S and Lean Manufacturing production systems.
- Strong commitment to cleanliness, organization, and workplace safety
- Comfortable safely handling cleaning chemicals and following chemical-handling procedures
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working around production equipment
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when recording production and inventory data
- Ability to follow established SOPs and standard work consistently
- Able to work independently, take initiative, and be a self-starter
- Ability to communicate and work effectively as part of a production teamOSHA and hazardous materials training a plus
- While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to:
- Stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, move heavy materials regularly
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
