Receptionist The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing professional customer service at the front desk, managing incoming calls, maintaining office security procedures, and supporting administrative tasks such as data entry and meeting scheduling.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner at the front desk.
Direct and announce visitors to the appropriate person or department.
Answer, screen, and forward inbound phone calls promptly and accurately.
Handle outbound calls as needed to support office operations and customer service.
Maintain office security by following established safety procedures at the reception desk.
Control access to the facility by monitoring the visitor logbook and issuing visitor badges.
Update calendars and schedule meetings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Perform data entry tasks to support administrative and office functions.
Provide general administrative support to the office as required.
Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service to visitors, callers, and internal staff.
Demonstrate reliability by adhering to scheduled hours and completing assigned tasks on time.

Work Environment:
This role is based at an on-site front desk in a professional office environment. The standard schedule is Monday with hours from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM, including a one-hour lunch break. The position involves frequent interaction with visitors and staff, regular use of office equipment and Microsoft Office software, and consistent adherence to security and access control procedures. A professional appearance and demeanor are expected while working at the reception desk.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
