As a Fleet Sales Associate, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on our business and in the lives of our team members and customers every day. We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused Fleet Sales Associate who will help us redefine the car-buying experience.The Commercial Sales Consultant is expected to build, grow, and establish strong relationships with businesses, trade associations, and commercial customers. Through those relationships, solicit sales opportunities and build a robust network of business prospects. The goal is to "earn a customer for life" by maintaining a positive long-term relationship based on trust and exceptional customer service.Demonstrates a positive, proactive image of the dealership to othersMaintains and builds relationships with prospects and customers through regular contacts at their place of business, supplemented with other communications.Accurately calculates costs of delivering products and services to customers. Writes specs, proposals, and Buyer Orders. Fully explains them to buyers.Answers all questions and provides complete information to customers.Works with various upfitters and suppliers to accurately "spec" vehicles and related costs. Works with upfitters and suppliers to meet delivery dates.Ensures the inspection of a product, service, or proposal occurs before deliveryObtains referralsDevelops an ever-expanding base of suppliers and upfittersWorks with management to market commercial vehicles in a variety of waysKeeps up to date prospect and customer data in the CRM system, including past and future contacts. This includes customer communications, proposals, sales opportunities, deliveries, and related follow-up activitiesSets and keeps appointments in a timely mannerEstablishes short and long-term performance goalsPlans and prioritizes daily work activitiesAnalyzes and summarizes data at the end of each day, week, and monthReports objectives, activities, analyzes status reports to management as requestedReads and understands technical material to stay current and conversant on commercial vehicles, dealership products, specials, and incentives.
