Weekend Caregiver - In Home Care

CAREGIVER – ATTENDANT CARE Company: Sakin LLC Location: Glendale, Arizona Position: Attendant Caregiver Hours: Approximately 35 hours per week Schedule: Primarily evenings and weekends Schedule Evening shifts: approximately 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM Saturday: approximately 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM Sunday: approximately 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM Additional hours may be scheduled to reach approximately 35 hours per week. About the Position Sakin LLC is currently seeking a reliable, compassionate, and responsible Attendant Caregiver to provide in-home support to a member in Glendale, Arizona. The caregiver will assist the member with daily activities, meal preparation, errands, transportation, cleaning, and other approved attendant care services. This is an active caregiving position and requires someone who is dependable, responsible, and comfortable working directly with a member in their home and community. Responsibilities The caregiver will assist with: Meal preparation and meal planning Grocery shopping and running errands Driving the member to approved activities and appointments, as applicable Light housekeeping and cleaning Laundry and maintaining a clean and safe home environment Assistance with approved activities of daily living Supporting the member's daily routine and independence Community activities and outings, as appropriate Providing companionship and respectful support Following the member's service plan Completing required service documentation and daily notes Communicating concerns or changes to the Sakin LLC supervisor Maintaining confidentiality and protecting the member's privacy Following all Sakin LLC and Arizona DDD requirements Required Qualifications & Requirements Applicants must: Have a valid Arizona driver's license Have reliable transportation Have a safe and acceptable driving record Be willing and able to drive for work-related errands and approved transportation needs Be dependable, punctual, and professional Be able to work the required evening and weekend schedule Be comfortable preparing meals, cleaning, and running errands Be able to communicate effectively in English Pass all required background checks and screenings Complete all required Sakin LLC and Arizona DDD training Follow the member's service plan and all applicable DDD requirements Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality DDD / Caregiver Training Requirements Experience working with individuals receiving Arizona DDD services is strongly preferred. Applicants with the following training or certifications are highly preferred: Article 9 Certification/Training Direct Care Worker (DCW) Training/Certification Prevention & Support Training CPR Certification First Aid Certification Previous experience providing Attendant Care, Respite, Habilitation, or other DDD services Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities Applicants who do not currently have all required DDD training may be considered depending on their qualifications and willingness to complete the required training before providing services. The caregiver must be able to provide hands-on support with daily needs, meal preparation, errands, transportation, cleaning, and other approved attendant care activities.
