Controlled Plating Technologies is a leader in precision surface finishing. We pride ourselves on quality, innovation, and a collaborative work environment. We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our inventory and shipping teams in Grand Rapids.
Position Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, packaging and shipping. This role leads a team of warehouse associates to ensure safety, efficiency, and accuracy. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong leadership skills and experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Team: Supervise, train, and schedule daily tasks for warehouse personnel. Optimize Logistics: Oversee all receiving, material handling, picking, packing, and shipping. Manage Inventory: Maintain accurate stock records, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies. Enforce Safety: Ensure strict compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies. Maintain Equipment: Oversee the inspection and maintenance of equipment, such as scales, forklifts and warehouse tools.
Qualifications
Experience: 2–3 years of supervisor experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with ERP software, MS Office (Outlook, Excel).
Certifications:
Forklift operator certification is required (or ability to obtain one).Physical Ability: Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
