We take pride in delivering high-quality pre-owned vehicles to our customers. We are looking for an experienced and detail-driven Used Car Reconditioning Technician to join our expanding reconditioning team.
Position Overview: As a Used Car Reconditioning Technician, you will inspect, diagnose, repair, and prepare pre-owned vehicles for retail sale. You will play a critical role in ensuring our inventory meets the high performance, safety, and cosmetic standards of Edmond Hyundai and Genesis of EdmondKey ResponsibilitiesPerform thorough multi-point inspections on incoming used vehicles Diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical issues (brakes, suspension, engine performance, etc.) Complete maintenance services (oil changes, tires, fluids, filters, alignments, etc.) Communicate with service advisors and reconditioning managers on repair needs and time estimates Document all work performed accurately and efficiently Ensure all vehicles meet dealership and manufacturer reconditioning guidelines Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Qualifications 2+ years automotive technician experience preferred ASE certifications a plus (not required) Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude What We OfferCompetitive hourly or flat-rate pay based on experience Monthly performance bonuses Paid time off and holidays Health, dental & vision insurance Tool reimbursement or tool allowance (if applicable) Advancement and training opportunities Positive, team-focused work environment
