Job Description: Press Brake Operator New Albany, IN|Temp-to-Hire|Pay Based on Experience Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday–Friday|3:30 PM – 11:00 PM About the Role BESTAFF is hiring an experienced Press Brake Operator for a great family-owned company in New Albany, IN. This is a machine shop environment where precision matters and skilled operators are valued. You'll work a steady 2nd shift schedule with weekends off and pay that reflects the experience you bring. If you know your way around a press brake and take pride in accurate bends, this is a place to grow your career.
What You'll Do: Set up and operate a press brake to form 11 gauge sheet metal parts to specification Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to set up each job Select and install the correct tooling and dies for each part Measure and check bends and angles using tape measures, calipers, and protractors Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, and make adjustments as needed Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe in a machine shop setting Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPEWhat You Bring At least 2 years of hands-on press brake operating experience Experience forming 11 gauge material Ability to read and understand blueprints Strong measuring skills and attention to detail Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Why BESTAFF At BESTAFF, we match great people with great opportunities.
