Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate issue resolution across engineering meta-functions including software, hardware, systems engineering, validation, vehicle integration, manufacturing, supplier quality, and connected services Drive structured root cause analysis and corrective action development using established problem-solving methodologies ( 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA, fault tree analysis)Partner with Design Release Engineers (DREs), Design Systems Engineers(DSEs), software engineering teams, validation organizations, Tier 1 suppliers, and vehicle program teams to ensure timely issue closure Drive issue management across the full infotainment ecosystem Requirments: Deep understanding of infotainment and connectivity architecture Strong knowledge of CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, UDS diagnostics Understanding of OTA update systems and software flashing processes Ability to distinguish hardware vs. software vs. integration root causes Vehicle instrumentation and debugging Bench/HIL/VHIL setup and troubleshooting Returned ECU log extraction and validation Electrical fundamentals and diagnostic tools
