About the role
Job Title Solar Panel Manufacturing Technician
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Operate manufacturing equipment according to established work instructions. Assemble solar panel components while meeting quality standards. Perform visual inspections and identify product defects. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Maintain production output and quality expectations. Complete required production documentation accurately. Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles. Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE. Report equipment malfunctions or quality concerns immediately. Assist with line changeovers and startup activities. Support continuous improvement initiatives. Cross-train in multiple production processes as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience Manufacturing experience preferred but not required. Experience working in a production environment is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Team-oriented mindset. Basic math skills.
Physical Requirements:
Stand and walk for extended periods. Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and twist. Repetitive use of hands and arms. Ability to wear required PPE throughout the shift.
