Job Overview: Penn Actors Academy is seeking a seasoned, motivated Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong sales background and a genuine understanding of the film, television, or theatre industry. This role is responsible for connecting prospective students with our acting programs, following up with leads, answering questions, scheduling consultations, and converting inquiries into enrollments. The right candidate is confident, personable, professional, and comfortable speaking with aspiring actors and their families. Film or theatre experience is strongly preferred. Experience in acting schools, talent agencies, casting, entertainment, education, or a related industry is a plus.

Qualifications: Proven experience in sales, enrollment, admissions, or customer-facing business development Film, television, or theatre background strongly preferred Previous experience in the entertainment industry, acting schools, talent agencies, or related fields is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Confident speaking with prospective students, parents, and industry professionals Comfortable making and receiving sales calls Strong follow-up and lead-management skills Ability to build relationships and establish trust quickly Goal-oriented and motivated by achieving enrollment and sales targets Professional, organized, and reliable Ability to work independently while contributing to a team Familiarity with social media and digital communication is a plus
Key Responsibilities: Contact and follow up with prospective students through phone calls, text, email, and other communication channels Respond to inquiries about acting classes, programs, workshops, and masterclasses Conduct sales calls and consultations to determine prospective students' needs Explain program benefits, schedules, pricing, and enrollment options Convert qualified leads into enrolled students Maintain consistent follow-up with leads who have not yet enrolled Track leads, conversations, follow-ups, and enrollment status Meet or exceed established sales and enrollment goals Build strong relationships with students, parents, and prospective clients Help promote upcoming classes, masterclasses, workshops, and special events Communicate the value of our programs and opportunities within the entertainment industry Work closely with management and the academy team to improve lead conversion and enrollment Provide feedback on common questions, objections, and opportunities to improve the sales process We're looking for someone who can sell with confidence while genuinely understanding the entertainment industry.
