About the role
The Channel Management Specialist II - Electrical Products serves as a key liaison between Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and Supply Chain to support channel growth, product commercialization, promotions, training initiatives, and strategic line review activities. This role partners cross-functionally to execute new product introductions, drive channel engagement, provide actionable business insights, and support profitable growth across Southwire's Electrical Product distribution channels. Develop and deliver channel, customer, booking, billing, and promotional performance reporting to provide actionable business insights and support commercial decision making. Serve as a key liaison between Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and Supply Chain by communicating business priorities, channel requirements, customer feedback, and product-specific actions. Lead cross-functional commercialization activities for new product introductions, including launch planning, execution, distribution strategies, launch materials, and post-launch support. Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management to develop and execute channel engagement strategies including trade shows, road shows, product campaigns, and customer-facing events. Support the development and maintenance of sales playbooks, business content, product communications, and sales enablement resources to drive product awareness and channel growth. Develop, coordinate, and evaluate promotional programs while partnering with Product Management, Supply Chain, and Marketing Operations to maximize effectiveness and ensure inventory alignment. Drive excess and obsolete inventory reduction initiatives through coordinated sales strategies, promotional programs, and cross-functional collaboration. Support training and educational programs by partnering with Southwire Solutions University, distributors, agents, and internal stakeholders to deliver effective learning experiences and eLearning content. Lead line review planning and execution activities, including presentation development, profitability analysis, sampling coordination, pricing validation, and stakeholder alignment. Manage project conversion and growth initiatives by identifying share gain opportunities, tracking target accounts, supporting contractor engagement efforts, and partnering with Product Management to drive market adoption and revenue growth.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field 3+ years of experience in Channel Management, Product Management, Sales, Commercialization or related field
Preferred Experience:
5 + years in channel management or product marketing in the electrical products or construction products industry. Experience with New Product Introduction Experience with Line Reviews and Distributor Relationships
