About the role

AEP in Pataskala, OH seeks a Transmission Line Mechanic D to assist in installing, maintaining and inspecting overhead transmission facilities. You will operate line trucks, perform climbs, and work from bucket trucks or ladders under supervision. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, no prior experience, travel >50%, overtime availability, and completion of a Physical Abilities Test. A CDL and progression to higher classifications are encouraged; live within 45 minutes of the service
