About the role
- Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that suit their prescription, lifestyle, and aesthetic preferences
- Educate patients on lens technology including progressives, coatings, specialty lenses, and premium options
- Take precise optical measurements (PD, OC height, segment height, etc.)Process eyewear orders and verify prescription accuracy
- Dispense, adjust, and repair frames
- Coordinate with optical labs and vendors
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing optical display
- Provide an exceptional patient experience from frame selection to final dispensing
- Previous experience as an Optician or Optical Sales Associate
- Strong knowledge of lens designs, materials, and frame fitting
- Experience with lens edging or finishing is a plus but not required
- Excellent communication and patient service skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with EMR or optical management softwareABO certification is a plus
