About the role

Growing Private Baby Apparel & Product Company seeking a talented Logistics/Import Manager. This position will work with the 3PL Warehouse, overseas Manufacturers to keep the imported merchandise moving on time to meet retailers fulfillment dates. It will work with the India Import Team, freight forwarders, and domestic 3PL, as well as corporate headquarters.
Key responsibilities include: warehouse coordination, container receiving, outbound shipping, on time delivery, retailer requirements, and oversee the import process. BS/BA Degree Must have 5+ years import experience working with ocean freight, freight forwarders, ETD/ETA management and shipping documents.
Must have: 5+ years experience working knowledge of warehouse operations and have worked with a 3PL warehouse. Must have strong organizational skills, detailed oriented, ability to prioritize, self starter, strong follow-up skills, problem solver, and excellent communication skills Occasional travel to Los Angeles, CA as needed to work with 3PLEasy location when using public transportation into NYC
Compensation: $80k - $90K, hybrid role
